Currie stars in all rounder role for Hants 2's


Scott Currie enjoyed success with bat and ball in Hampshire 2's game against Glamorgan 2's at The Ageas Bowl this week in his return from a back injury.


Scott, who came through the juniors system at Poole Town, top scored with a wonderful 127 not out in Hants first innings, his knock coming off 187 balls and including fifteen 4's and two 6's and played a huge part in stabilising the innings when coming to the crease with Hants at 148/6. Eventually ending the day declaring on 364/7. With the skippers agreeing to further declarations without batting, Glamorgan entered there second innings chasing 365, with Currie not yet finished with putting his name in the scorebook, returning figures of 4/43 from 16 overs as Glamorgan chased the game which eventually ended in a tie.
