Juniors Kit Launch Night A Success.


On Friday the Pavilion played host to the launch of the new range of playing and training wear in association BMI The Harbour Hospital and Shrey. The evening saw Poole Park in all it's April splendour with the juniors participating in training with 1st XI players under the expert guidance of Joey Wormington.

The new kit has been launched in association with Sponsor BMI The Harbour Hospital, who have given significant backing to Poole Town CC Juniors. Speaking prior to the event, Dawn Merrifield, Sales & Marketing Manager for BMI The Harbour Hospital stated “We are delighted to be part of Poole Town Cricket Club and are excited about a long successful relationship. The club do a great job acknowledging the best performers, as well as encouraging the potential of others. Being able to have a partnership with such a dedicated local club is a great privilege. ”


The night saw orders placed for over 60 playing shirts with more orders coming in through the weekend. Matt Cooke, National Sales Manager for Shrey attended the event offering players access to a full range of sample garments to size up new kit, including Shrey's range of helmets as worn by England Test Skipper Joe Root.

Speaking about the new partnership he offered "Shrey are a growing brand in the cricket market place, it is great to be involved in providing our Teamwear to such a thriving junior section such as Poole Town Cricket Club. We look forward to a long term relationship with the club and wish their teams all the best for the 2019 season.”

The night also gave opportunity to look back on a successful winter for the Junior Indoor Teams with teams from the Under 10's, Under 14's and Under 15's winning their respective leagues.

Playing shirts are due to be delivered prior to the opening games of the Junior season. Keep an eye on the website and the Juniors Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/Poole-Town-CC-Juniors) for Squad pictures in their new kits and for updates of progression through the season.  


PTCC Juniors got to see the size of the club they a part of, with wonderful attendance from their own age groups, along with adult players including 1st Team Skipper David Miller, leading wicket taker in the Dorset Premier League Joey Wormington (41 DPL Wickets - 2018) and Club Chairman Nick Williams who skippered the Men's 2s last season the headline attendees.
