4th Sep - Chairmans Day - Peter Dooker Memorial Day

There will be a six-a-side tournament (possibly eight-a-side, depending on availability), starting at 10.30.

We will break at around 4.30 for speeches and the presentation of the inaugural Peter Dooker Memorial Award (first team player of the year, previously unnamed), before the final stages.

FREE food will be available throughout. Firstly, bacon sandwiches in the morning, then a traditional cricket tea (including cheese and port) at lunchtime and into the early afternoon, and finally a barbecue in the late afternoon and evening. Many thanks to the Dooker family for sponsoring this part of proceedings.

The bar will also be open all day, but PLEASE NOTE this will NOT be free!

We would love to see as many people as possible at any time of the day, to help us celebrate the life of our former Chairman, and to acknowledge the massive contribution he made to Poole Town Cricket Club and its predecessors over so many years. Feel free to look in whenever but, just to give us a rough handle on numbers (to help with the catering), if anyone knows now they will definitely be coming please let us know by this Friday if you can.

If you won't be able to attend, but would like to send a message I shall be happy to pass any on - or you can send them direct to the club if you prefer. Those of you who have already kindly done so do not of course need to repeat them.

Thank you all for your time, and hope to see as many of you as possible.
